In Loving Memory Scrapbook Part 2

I have been able to finish a few more pages for my scrapbook. I skipped over lesson 2 for the time being and went on to lesson 3 of the class titled Unspeakable Heartache. Since I have had to place my feelings on paper for several different things, these layouts were fairly easy for me to put together. I just had to print out what I had written. Now as I have try to sit down to do others, I am sure they will be more difficult.

The first is my Victim Impact Statement. It is exactly what I read in court and I'm sure most of you have seen the link to it in the paper on the blog before, so I won't retype it out.

This layout is just the statement we made to the parole board in December. It too can be found earlier in the blog if you wish to read it.

This next layout is of Abby headstone. I need to tell more about the emotions involved in having to pick out a stone, but think I will do that later. The little white box with blue writing is the definition of angel.

These are really nothing you have not seen before in separate entries throughout the blog, but just thought I would share how I have preserved these events in our life surrounding the loss of our little girl.

  1. Looks like a great way for you to share your emotions and put what happened to you and your feelings about it down on paper...maybe that is what I need. What a great way to remember Abby. Even looking at your entry for tonight, retelling the horror of the day you lost her and where you laid her to rest, you were able to capture so much on your pages that will hopefully bring you some healing. I don't know if I ever told you, but I just love the letter A on the back of her stone.
